The Audi S4 is a nimble, well behaved sedan powered by a DOHC V8 with two-stage variable intake manifold. The engine has a bore of 3.33 in. with a 3.65 in stroke and a compression ratio is 11.0 : 1.
This 4.2 (4.163) liter engine delivers 340 Hp @7,000 rpm and torque of 301 ft-lbs @ 3,500 rpm giving an electrically limited 155 mph top speed. The manual transmission version sprints to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds while the Tiptronic version takes 5.6 seconds. Audi's unique Quattro system alllows four link front suspension tuned with a stabilizer bar and gas charged shocks.
